INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 19, 2012 — Dow AgroSciences LLC announced today that Canadian regulatory authorities approved corn and soybean traits that provide tolerance to 2,4-D herbicide, which will allow for the first-ever cultivation of these traits. The approved Enlist™ corn trait and the Enlist™ soybean trait are part of the company’s Enlist Weed Control System.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Health Canada (HC) approved Enlist corn and soybean traits for food, feed, and environmental release. Approvals are also being sought in the United States, Brazil, and Argentina.

Dow AgroSciences anticipates launching the Enlist Weed Control System in corn in Canada and the United States for the 2013 growing season once regulatory approvals are secured for all components of the system. Launch of the Enlist Weed Control System in soybeans in Canada and the United States is anticipated for the 2015 growing season once regulatory approvals are secured for all components of the system.
