WASHINGTON, Sept. 23, 2015 – Timothy Glenn has been named president of DuPont’s Crop Protection business effective Oct. 1, succeeding Rik Miller, who’s retiring after 31 years of service to the company.

Glenn has been serving as vice president, Integrated Operations and Commercial Effectiveness with DuPont Pioneer. He has also been regional director for Canada and Latin America, and director, Marketing and Sales Effectiveness for North America. Before joining DuPont, he held a series of business and marketing leadership positions with Dow AgroSciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

“Tim has dedicated his entire career to serving the needs of farmers and advancing agriculture,” DuPont Executive Vice President James Borel said in a news release. “His extensive agricultural industry experience combined with a relentless focus on delivering top line growth, launching innovative products and building strong customer relationships will help lead the business now and in the future.”

Miller started with DuPont in 1984 and has held several business leadership positions in Crop Protection. In 2010, he served as regional director, Europe, based in Geneva. He was appointed president, DuPont Crop Protection in 2011.
