Kick off Ag Day with Agri-Pulse and USDA Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden

WASHINGTON, March 12 – Help Agri-Pulse celebrate Ag Day’s 41st anniversary and our 10th year in business.

Please join Agri-Pulse on Monday, March 24 for our Farm to Fork Politics discussion, where United States Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Krysta Harden will join Agri-Pulse Editor Sara Wyant to discuss farm bill implementation and the 2014 agricultural outlook.

The event is from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in Room 902 of the Hart Office Building, located on Constitution Avenue between 1st and 2nd Streets NE in Washington, D.C.

Our Agri-Pulse Customer Appreciation reception follows the discussion, from 5 – 7 p.m. The event, held in conjunction with other National Agriculture Day activities, is a small way of saying “thanks” to all of the terrific agricultural and rural people who helped us launch Agri-Pulse in 2004. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, the newsletter and web site www.agri-pulse.com are considered the leading source for farm and rural policy news and analysis.

To attend the event, please RSVP to sandi@agri-pulse.com by March 19, 2014.

National Ag Day, March 25, is part of a series of events for National Ag Week, March 23-29, 2014. The events are planned to encourage Americans to learn more about how their food, fiber and fuel products are produced, value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy and appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products.
