Cast your vote for USFRA 'Faces of Farming and Ranching'

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., Oct. 24, 2014 - Online voting opened today for the next U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) "Faces of Farming and Ranching."

Visit the Faces of Farmers and Ranchers online voting page to learn about this year's finalists and the work they do, including short videos highlighting their farms and ranches. Then, cast your vote between now and Nov. 2 for the finalist you feel best exemplifies agriculture. Votes will be factored into the final decision to determine the next USFRA Faces of Farming and Ranching.

About the program: Winners serve in multiple high-visibility roles on behalf of USFRA, through activities including national media interviews, advertising and public appearances. Winners will receive a $15,000 stipend to help cover the costs of being away from their operations. They'll also receive professional media and speaker training and full support from USFRA through their yearlong tenure.

How winners are determined:  A combination of public votes and USFRA judges' scores will determine the winners, who will be announced on Nov. 12, 2014, during a press conference at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention (NAFB) in Kansas City.

How to vote: To vote, click this link from a mobile device or computer or go to the USFRA Facebook page. One vote per day per email address is allowed from Oct. 24 through Nov. 2. Voters must be Facebook members. Non-members of Facebook may join the social media platform to vote.
