Farm Hands West: Berlant becomes California state fire marshal

Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed Daniel Berlant as the new state fire marshal with the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and Oregan Gov. Tina Kotek has tapped Lisa Charpilloz Hanson as the new director of the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
