Broadband fund's operation is constitutional, Supreme Court says

The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of the Universal Service Fund, which provides about $8 billion annually to defray the cost of broadband service for a wide range of entities, including rural hospitals. The court ruled 6-3 that the way the fund operates does not violate the "nondelegation doctrine."
