Longest shutdown ends: USDA fully funded, SNAP benefits unlocked

The House gave final congressional approval Wednesday to a measure that will end the longest-ever government shutdown after 43 days and fully fund the Agriculture Department and Food and Drug Administration for fiscal 2026.
