It is no secret that California is an agricultural powerhouse with the ability to grow over 400 different commodities valued at more than $50 billion. But with droughts, water restraints, labor shortages, wildfires and one of the most complex regulatory systems in the country, how long can the nation’s top agricultural producer remain competitive?

“That’s the focus of our Agri-Pulse Food and Ag Policy Summit,” says Agri-Pulse Editor Sara Wyant. “We plan to bring together state and federal policymakers, leaders of food companies and agribusinesses, as well as economists, to take a holistic look at some of the costs and challenges ahead.
