Patrick O’Leary is a fourth-generation farmer from Benson, Minnesota. He currently serves as the chair of Northern Soy Marketing and is a director with the Minnesota Soybean Research and Promotion Council. O’Leary farms with his two brothers and father. They grow corn, soybeans and contract grow hogs. In addition to the work on their farm, the O’Leary’s also sell seed and have a custom farming business. 

Seth Naeve, Ph.D., is a soybean agronomist with the University of Minnesota and is an associate professor in the Department of Agronomy and Plant Genetics. His efforts are split between a soybean production/physiology research project and extension activities. Naeve’s research program focuses on the development of novel strategies for the efficient production of high-quality soybeans. This includes analyzing genetic, environmental and cultural effects on soybean seed quality (oil, protein, fatty acid, amino acid and carbohydrate composition) and researching management strategies to maximize production efficiencies. He was raised on a corn and soybean farm in Northern Iowa. Naeve received his bachelor’s degree in biology and Ph.D. in agronomy from Iowa State University. 

David Llamas is director marketing and business development for Yamada Consulting Group (YCG) and its subsidiary Spire Research & Consulting. He has experience in marketing, account management and sales for emerging markets in Asia and Latin America. His expertise lies in managing marketing and research projects for tech and agriculture clients with an emphasis on marketing communications, branding, public relations and creating tools for new media. Llamas has an agriculture background and grew up in cattle ranching and farming in eastern Idaho. He earned an accounting degree from Boise State University, and an MBA from the University of Texas- Austin.
