USDA narrows down strains of African Swine Fever virus

The USDA Agricultural Research Service revealed that researchers have condensed the categorization of African Swine Fever virus strains from 25 to just six distinct genotypes.

This week's Open Mic guest is Duane Simpson, President and CEO of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives. The group held their annual fly-in last week and lobbied congressional leaders to complete a new farm bill and pass ag labor reform legislation, among other issues.
