House Ag Committee member Collin Peterson to run for reelection

MOORHEAD, Minn., March 17, 2014 – House Agriculture Committee ranking member Collin Peterson, D-Minn., announced this morning that he will run for reelection in the state’s 7^th Congressional District.

Saying “there’s plenty of work to do,” Peterson announced his reelection plans in an interview withKFGO radio, before a news conference at the Moorhead Center Mall.

Peterson was first elected in 1990. If reelected, this will be his 13^th term in office.

Minnesota State Senator Torrey Westrom, Elbow Lake, Minn., is running for the seat as a Republican.
