WASHINGTON, Oct. 19, 2015 – The Food and Drug Administration will reopen the comment period for its Supplemental Proposed Rule for Updating the Nutrition Facts Label for a four-day period starting on Tuesday, Oct. 19.

The FDA said that technical problems with its regulations.gov website had prevented some people from filing comments electronically on the proposed rule and on consumer studies associated with the rulemaking. The original comment period closed Oct. 13.
