OHIO, July 5, 2017 - The Ohio House of Representatives removed a fix to the state’s wind turbine setback policy after the Senate advanced the measure last week. Ohio’s restrictions on wind development have essentially barred any growth in the state’s wind energy production. “It’s hard to understand why the Ohio House under the leadership of Speaker (Cliff) Rosenberger would stand in the way of $4.2 billion of economic development,” said Andrew Gohn, policy director for the American Wind Energy Association Eastern Region.
