Jeff VanderWerff farms 14 varieties of apples and 2000 acres of row crops near Sparta, Michigan. He serves on the American Farm Bureau Federation’s Technology Advisory Committee and is a member of the Ottawa County Farm Bureau, located in western Michigan’s “Fruit Belt.”
Michigan produces more than 900 million pounds of apples per year so it is no wonder apples are known as one of Michigan's largest and most valuable fruit crops.
