Rendering’s contributions to animal agriculture’s economic and environmental sustainability across the globe is critical; yet rendering often remains an “invisible industry” when topics like animal food production and the circular economy are discussed. Symposium topics were selected with the goal to shed light on the multitude of ways rendering bolsters and supports international markets, and global sustainability.
