The 2018 CLA/RISE Regulatory Conference, “Partnering for Progress” is here! Our conference is intended to highlight ongoing regulatory science and policy issues currently engaging our industry. Some issues covered will include Endangered Species Act risk assessments and management of outcomes, use of weight-of-evidence in ecological and human health risk assessment, toxicological testing and alternative methods, effects of exposure to pesticides in ecological and human health risk assessments and many others. EPA leadership will be asked to provide its current strategic plans of work and ongoing information needs for registration and registration review, so we will be able to engage with them directly on these topics. RISE will again focus on its popular “Labels Live!” sessions, which graphically illustrate the information registrants provide on labeled products (this is always an interesting and interactive event). Also, we will highlight precision agriculture technology in a unique format!
