NCFC’s June Washington Conference gives you and your co-op the chance to interact directly with those federal policy makers whose decisions will shape agricultural and environmental policy in the year to come. It is also a great opportunity for all of us to highlight and promote the importance of farmer co-ops to their producer-owners, rural communities and consumers in the U.S. and around the world. The Washington Conference also includes NCFC’s Political Advocacy & Leadership Program for Young Cooperators. Designed to help foster political and legislative engagement by the next generation of co-op leaders, young cooperators in attendance will participate in the Washington Conference as well as a two-hour seminar exclusively for them.
