The two-day forum, with the theme “Building on Innovation: A Pathway to Resilience,” builds on the Trump administration's Agriculture Innovation Agenda, launched in 2020 to align USDA’s resources, programs, and research toward the goal of increasing U.S. agricultural production by 40% while cutting the environmental footprint of U.S. agriculture in half by 2050.   The Agricultural Outlook Forum, which is organized by USDA’s Office of the Chief Economist together with other USDA agencies, is independent of commercial interests and aims to facilitate information sharing among stakeholders and generate the transparency that supports well-functioning open markets.
