Energy-related emissions decline overall, but rise for transportation

WASHINGTON, Oct. 11, 2017 - A report released by the Energy Information Administration shows carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions decreased by 89 million metric tons (MMmt) in 2016 from the previous year.
