AGCO opened a 25,000 square-foot expansion at its Western Canada parts facility in Regina, Saskatchewan, last week. Bill Hurley, vice president of sales and operations for the agricultural equipment company, said AGCO designed the expansion around which parts were in highest demand. “Our mission is to provide unparalleled customer support. One way we do this is by ensuring we have the right parts at the right place, every time,” said Hurley. The addition increased inventory at the facility by 38 percent, making the parts distribution center the largest by footprint outside AGCO’s master facilities in Kansas City, Mo., and Batavia, Ill. The center will allow for same-day shipping at 52 of 56 AGCO dealers in the region. Customers will also be able to pick up parts at the Regina center with a two-hour notice. The facility, original established in 1991, broke ground on the expansion in 2017.
