Agri-Pulse is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason Lutz to sales and marketing manager for the company.

"Jason has been a critical member of Agri-Pulse for several years, leading the advertising oversight for our website and expanding our paid subscription base. In addition, he has taken the lead on marketing special projects like our Deep Dive podcast,” said Allan Johnson, Agri-Pulse vice president and chief operating officer.

Since joining the Agri-Pulse team’s Camdenton, Mo., office in 2012, Lutz’s involvement has grown to include virtually all areas of the business, including subscription sales, management, marketing, and advertising sales responsibilities. He has also been very engaged in the growth of our event business in Washington, D.C., Kansas City, Mo., and now Sacramento, Calif.

Lutz will now have overall responsibility for managing the sales team in developing new customers who want to target the key influencers in food and agriculture that Agri-Pulse reaches every day. One of the first assignments will be hiring a new sales representative based in California to support the growing Agri-Pulse West coverage.

“It has been very rewarding to watch Jason’s development as a manager,” stated Agri-Pulse President Sara Wyant. “He has a great understanding of the unique position Agri-Pulse occupies serving Congress, government officials, and the large cross section of influencers in agribusiness and farm/commodity organizations.”
