LITTLE ROCK, AR., May 13 - Funeral services have been planned for our friend and co-worker Stewart Doan: An outstanding journalist, husband, father and a true Southern gentleman.
As House Agriculture Committee Chairman Frank Lucas, R-OK, said on Friday:
"Beyond being a talented journalist and broadcaster, Stewart was just a quality person. His passing is a tremendous loss to all of us who appreciated and respected his fair storytelling and analysis. His brand of reporting on farm policy and his role in our community will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and colleagues."
