Busch Light is partnering with the nonprofit Farm Rescue this July to raise aid for Midwestern family farms and ranches through the sale of its “Farming Cans.”

The specialty cans available across the country will feature a “U.S. Farmed” seal, indicating at least 95% of the beer’s ag ingredients are American grown, according to the beer brand. Busch Light has pledged to donate 10 cents for each case of the limited-edition cans sold during July — up to $200,000 — to Farm Rescue.

This campaign comes at a time when more Americans are expected to gravitate toward locally made products. In its press release, Busch Light expressed a hope to cater to this growing consumer base of shoppers looking for “homegrown quality” products.

“Farmers are truly the backbone of this country and Busch Light is proud to stand by the people who keep America running,” said Krystyn Stowe, head of marketing for Busch Light at Anheuser-Busch. “There's no Busch Light without quality ingredients farmed right here in the U.S.”

Busch Light first began partnering with Farm Rescue in 2019 and has since raised almost $1.5 million for the organization.

"Farm Rescue provides planting, haying, harvesting, commodity hauling, and livestock feeding assistance to farm and ranch families who have experienced a major injury, illness, or natural disaster," the group's website says.
