Middle and high school students will be challenged to design a city that has no food waste, from farm to fork. DiscoverE is setting up the contest as part of its 2025-26 Future City Competition.
DiscoverE is seeking judges from the culinary, agriculture, and food packaging and distribution sectors to join engineers on the contest panel.

More than 85,000 students worldwide have signed up for the Future City Competition, according to a press release.
"We have more students than ever, which means we need more judges than ever," says Kathy Renzetti, executive director of DiscoverE. "With a record number of local teams, our judges have the chance to make a direct impact on the future workforce."
