Cal/OSHA to allow unions to join workplace inspections

Cal/OSHA has proposed a new “walk-around rule” that could reshape who joins inspectors during workplace safety investigations. The draft regulation would clarify when employees, unions or outside representatives can participate in on-site inspections.
