WASHINGTON, March 9, 2017 – All four leaders of the House and Senate Agriculture committees will all be featured speakers at the upcoming Agri-Pulse Farm Bill Summit. The event, “Harvesting Farm Bill Perspectives,” will be held March 20 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“This is a great opportunity to gain new perspective on farm bill dynamics from the people who will be driving much of the debate,” explains Agri-Pulse Editor Sara Wyant.

The Senate Agriculture Committee's chairman, Pat Roberts, R-Kan., and ranking Democrat, Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, will be speaking in the afternoon along with House Agriculture's chairman, Mike Conaway, R-Texas, and ranking Democrat, Collin Peterson of Minnesota. 

In addition to these key lawmakers, Vice President Mike Pence has been invited. The program will also include a number of panelists focused on risk management, conservation, linking farm to food policy and how to bring the next generation of agricultural leaders back to the farm.
