WASHINGTON, June 19, 2017 - Agri-Pulse announces the addition of Sandra Cowherd to the staff as Editorial Coordinator.
“As someone who understands both agriculture and the communications industry, we are pleased to have Sandra on board to help us managing our expanding web content and to assist with event planning,” said Agri-Pulse Editor Sara Wyant.
Cowherd’s work in the communications industry spans 15 years, including work as a news reporter for KMZU, Carrollton, MO and as a production and marketing assistant at KFEQ, Saint Joseph, MO. She also performed various duties at Midwestern radio groups including Susquehanna, Entercom, Triad Broadcasting, and Eagle Communications and has worked on social media promotions.
Sandra grew up in Missouri where her family raised cattle, pigs, corn and beans. Some of her earliest memories include listening to grain and livestock reports on the radio with her grandparents. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University.
She will be based in the Camdenton, Mo. office.
