HAMBURG, September 6, 2017 - Nordex Wind’s latest turbine promises to optimize the overall yield of wind farms by allowing more options for its users. The newest model in the Delta4000 series, designed for on-shore use, adapts to the grid operator’s requirements. The N149/4.0-4.5 yields up to 28 percent more energy than its most recent predecessor and is the quietest turbine in its class. “The latest turbine showcases another milestone in wind development. It’s a highly competitive product with strong performance and a double-digit increase in efficiency, enabling us to further reduce the cost of energy to our customers,” said Jose Luis Blanco, CEO Nordex SE. The N149 also offers cold climate features, including a rotor blade anti-icing system. Nordex will officially introduce its N149 model at the Husum Wind Fair next week in Hamburg.
