President Donald Trump and senior officials said Monday that the administration will provide $12 billion in financial support for farmers, with the first $11 billion going to row crop producers before the end of February 2026.

The Trump administration may announce payments to struggling American farmers this week, with producers and lawmakers eager for details on how the aid will be handled. The Senate faces a partisan showdown on extending expiring health coverage subsidies and will consider several nominations important to agriculture.
