Russia pulls out of Black Sea grain deal

Russia announced on Saturday that it was suspending its involvement in the agreement that has allowed Ukraine to ship grain and other commodities from its Black Sea ports. The UN estimates the Black Sea deal has saved 100 million people globally from extreme poverty.

SNAP dairy incentives program gets boost

USDA-FNS authorized $3 million to Auburn University’s Hunger Solutions Institute to work with six retailers in Alabama, California, Georgia and South Dakota to implement at 116 locations its Healthy Fluid Milk Incentives Projects to encourage increased consumption of healthy dairy products.
