With 22 million flex fuel motorists on U.S. roadways, it can be tough to determine whether you are among them. A brochure from the Renewable Fuels Association (RFA) has simplified the task, compiling all of the flex fuel vehicle (FFV) models available from 1998 to 2018. Flex fuel vehicles can run on fuel blends containing up to 85 percent ethanol (E85). “This new brochure aims to raise consumer awareness about what vehicles are capable of running on ethanol flex fuels,” said RFA Vice President of Industry Relations Robert White. “We want consumers to understand what fuel they can use in their vehicles, and how to find that fuel.” The RFA offers E85prices.com, a resource for finding over 4,000 U.S. retailers offering E85 or other ethanol flex fuel blends.
