The California Department of Food and Agriculture is hosting visits of buyer delegations from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, South Korea and Taiwan in a partnership with the California Centers for International Trade Development and California Agricultural Export Council,
From April 22 to 25, California agribusiness will get the chance to learn about potential markets and meet with buyers and trade service providers in venues across the state, including San Francisco, Los Angeles and Fresno.

The department also announced a May trade mission to Morocco, with a focus on pushing tree nuts, processing ingredients, dairy and other specialty food products. Facilitated by the Western U.S. Agricultural Trade Association and agriculture departments of 15 western states, companies will hear from U.S. trade officials, visit retail and manufacturing facilities and receive company consultations.
CDFA Secretary Karen Ross acknowledged the “changing international trade environment” that U.S. farmers and ranchers face today but emphasized the importance of global recognition of the California Grown brand.
