Fate of CRP, other expired farm bill programs up in air

Authorization for the Conservation Reserve Program and other farm bill programs not included in this summer’s reconciliation bill has lapsed amid the shift to a new fiscal year, leaving their fates to be worked out as lawmakers strategize a means for reauthorization.
