WASHINGTON, July 5, 2017 - The Energy Department (DOE) has approved two long-term applications to export additional liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the Lake Charles LNG Liquefaction Project in Louisiana. Additional natural gas exports amounting to 330 million cubic feet per day were approved from Lake Charles’s proposed liquefaction facility. Non-additive authorizations were issued to Lake Charles Exports, LLC and Lake Charles LNG Export Company for LNG exports from Lake Charles LNG Liquefaction Project.
