WYOMING, August 9, 2017 - A Chinese company is providing paid training for people willing to work on its wind farm, in America’s number one coal state. Rep. Steve Harshman, R-Wyo., told CBS News that he is pleased the offer is available to his constituents. “There is so much integration in economies around the world,” he said. “I think it’s all about free markets and I think we all support that.” Jobs in the wind sector have increased along with wind energy production. The American Wind Energy Association announced that as of the end of the second quarter, wind power builds were up 40 percent compared to last year.
