Casey Creamer has departed as president and CEO of California Citrus Mutual. In a release from the group, board of directors chair Julia Inestroza said, “I am writing to share that California Citrus Mutual and Casey Creamer have parted ways, effective February 11, 2026. We appreciate his service to our industry and wish him the best in his future endeavors. … Our day-to-day operations will continue under the direction of our experienced staff, and the Board has begun the process of identifying CCM's next leader.” 

D.C. Legislative and Regulatory Services promoted Laurie Flanagan to president and David Beaudreau as executive vice president. David Crow, founder of the firm, will continue working full-time and transition into the role of strategic adviser. Matt Herrick is the next president and chief executive officer for the International Bottled Water Association.

As the U.S. careens towards a new trade pact with China, ag groups warn that Beijing never followed through with many of its ag policy commitments under a 2020 deal. Groups are split, however, on how to proceed.

Donald Trump is doubling down on his prediction that farmers are going to sell a lot more of their crops domestically because of his trade wars. Trump imposed higher tariffs on Canada, China and Mexico on Tuesday. And in his speech Tuesday night to a joint session of Congress, Trump reiterated his plan to impose reciprocal tariffs starting April 2.
