USDA is extending the deadline for submitting nominations and applications to serve on its Advisory Committee on Beginning Farmers and Ranchers and the Advisory Committee on Minority Farmers until Nov. 15. The previous deadline had been Nov. 1. USDA says this will give interested parties additional time to prepare and submit applications and nomination packages, which can be downloaded at the following link: : https://www.ocio.usda.gov/ document/ad-755. Packages should include a nomination form along with a cover letter or resume that documents the nominee’s background and experience.
