The California Department of Food and Agriculture is holding several public forums, both virtual and in-person, across the state seeking input from farmers, ranchers and other stakeholders on priorities for the 2023 Farm Bill. The first one will be virtual on August 10, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. On August 16, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Neighborhood House, Copley Conference Room, 5660 Copley Dr., San Diego, CA and virtually. On August 23, 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Fresno County Farm Bureau, 1274 W. Hedges Ave. Fresno, CA and on September 7, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Urban Tilth (North Richmond Farm), 323 Brookside Dr. Richmond, CA. Comments will be used to help develop recommendations that will be shared with California’s Congressional delegation and the leadership of the Senate and House agricultural committees, according to CDFA.
