President Donald Trump said Thursday evening that Canada will face higher duties for some products beginning Aug. 1 due to the Canadian government’s decision to retaliate against U.S. duties applied earlier this year.

The Senate will start moving its fiscal 2026 spending bills, including the Agriculture bill that funds USDA and FDA.
