President Donald Trump’s Department of Homeland Security has pulled back on immigration enforcement at agricultural operations, following up on remarks he made about the importance of allowing farmers to retain employees.

President Donald Trump, citing pressure from the agriculture and hospitality sectors, said Thursday farmworkers who are in the country illegally shouldn't be deported and reiterated that the administration would be taking action on the issue. "We’re going to have an order on that coming out soon," he said.

Ocean Mist Farms hired Jeff Fulton as senior director of commodity vegetable sales. He will be responsible for driving profitability, executing sales and marketing strategies. Fulton joins Ocean Mist from Dole Vegetable Co., where he worked for three decades in sales and product management, most recently as vice president of fresh pack sales and product manager.
